Animal Fries With Cashew Fruit Meat



● 1 russet potato
● 1 Tbsp olive oil
● 1 tsp garlic powder
● Salt and pepper to taste
● 1 pack of caju
● 1 tsp garlic powder
● 1 tsp onion powder
● 1/2 tsp chili powder
● 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
● 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
● 1/4 cup shredded vegan cheese
● 1/3 cup diced yellow onion

Animal Sauce

● 1/3 cup vegan mayo
● 1/3 cup ketchup
● 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
● 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
● 1 tsp dijon mustard
● 1/2 tsp onion powder
● 1/2 tsp sugar
● Salt and pepper to taste


● Begin cutting the potato into fries/wedges
● In a large bowl filled with cold water and a generous pinch of salt soak your potatoes for 30 minutes
● In the meantime cook your caju in a nonstick pan with the spices listed from garlic powder to smoked paprika
● Dice your onion and sauté until lightly browned in a separate pan
● strain potatoes from water and pat dry with a tea towel
● Put back in a bowl and coat in olive, garlic powder, salt and pepper
● On a lined baking sheet cook at 390 F for 20 minuted or until golden brown and crispy
● Prepare your animal sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients together until combined
● Assemble your fries by first shredding vegan cheddar on top, onions, caju, and the very special animal sauce
● Enjoy!
